I am a reader, first and foremost.
And *gasp* I have an opinion.
I know, such horror!
It is not opinion, but statistical fact, that there's a great deal more out there not worth reading than is worth the reader's time.
It's also debatable, whether the authors who employ formulas actually write better books than those who don't. The 'formulaic' certainly write more, I'll give them that.
And so M. Reids set out one day, determined to separate the two. And to prove that the quality writers are not only out there, but that they don't use 'formulas' to write The Really Good Stories.
They use their heads. And most importantly, their hearts.
